Capt. Randall Jennings
City Marshal

Captain Randall Jennings is the City Marshal for the Centerville Police Department. Captain Jennings retired as a Senior NCO from the United States Air Force and has over 37 years of military and civilian law enforcement experience.  He is a field-training officer, SWAT Operator, and has previously served as a patrol supervisor.

The City Marshal supports the Centerville Municipal Court (and other courts as requested) by serving and executing warrants for arrest, subpoenas and other legal processes generated by the Court, and may transport and book into a jail facility all subjects arrested on served warrants.

The City Marshal is also called upon to investigate citizen and/or business compliance with existing Centerville city ordinances and to take the appropriate action to uphold the requirements of said ordinances.

Animal Control Officer

Within the Office of the City Marshal is Animal Control.

Terry Wright is the Animal Control Officer (ACO) for the City of Centerville. ACO Wright has served in this capacity since July 1994 and performs a variety of duties involving the enforcement of city and state laws governing the care and upkeep of animals within the city.

The ACO investigates citizens' complaints of dogs, cats, or other animals creating a nuisance as well as investigating reports of animal abuse. The ACO also patrols city streets and neighborhoods identifying stray dogs and other domestic or wild animals.
